“SPORT MOVIES & TV 2009 – 27th MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL
“Sport Movies & Tv 2009 – 27th Milano International FICTS Festival” is world-wide event dedicated to cinema and sport television organized by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 102 Countries) recognized by IOC – International Olympic Committee (www.sportmoviestv.com)
The Festival, of which the main topic is “There isn’t sport without tv, there isn’t tv without sport”, means pursue the knowledge and the divulgation of cine-television sports videos that contribute to develop and to increase the cultural and artistic trends of world-wide Television and audio-visual.
Is the World-wide Final of the 14 phases of the International Circuit of the “World FICTS Challenge” that take place in the 5 Continents. It will take place from October 30th toNovember 4th 2009 to “Palazzo Giureconsulti” (Piazza Mercanti, 2). The “Pirelli Skyscraper” will accommodate the “Opening Ceremony” (October 30th), “Palazzo Marino”(Piazza Scala, 2) the “Award Ceremony” (November 4th).
There are several works arrived, till now, to the Organizing Committee that will concur, through documentaries, spot, reportages, fictions, cartoons, to awards with the “Guirlande d’Honneur” in one of the 6 competitive Section: 1. Olympic Spirit (Olympic Values); 2. Documentary (Individual sports; Team sports; Great Champions; Reportage); 3. TV Shows & New Technologies (Sports programs, Talk Shows, Entertaining; New Media); 4. Sport & Society (Sport & Solidarity; Sport for All, Education, Technique/didactics);5.Movies; 6. Sports Adverts (Social/Institutional advertising, Commercial advertising).
A important international showcase, a privileged place for meeting for authors, media, television broadcastings, operating, important world-wide Networks, radio, houses of production, major, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, sport champions, advertising and integrated communication agencies that offer to the audience the best of productions coming from 50 Countries in the 5 Continents. A real one world-wide event of field that include 180 Projections, 7 points of projection, 8 Meeting, 7 Encounters, 3 Workshops, 2 Exhibitions, 9 Side Events, 4 Press Conferences and 30 Awards with prestigious guests and the participation of 230 journalists that will fix a high media interest.
The event, that will be a global Convention of cine-television sports section, also towards “EXPO 2015”, will offer to the spectators, through unpublished images, a complete view on the social values, agonistic, cultural aspects of sport.

“Sport Movies & Tv 2009 – 27th Milano International FICTS Festival” è un evento mondiale dedicato al cinema e alla televisione sportiva, organizzato dalla FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, a cui aderiscono 102 Nazioni) riconosciuta dal CIO (Comitato Internazionale Olimpico) (www.sportmoviestv.com) il cui tema dominante è “Non c’è sport senza tv, non c’è tv senza sport”.
Il Festival, che intende perseguire la conoscenza e la diffusione dei video sportivi cine-televisive che concorrono allo sviluppo ed alla crescita delle tendenze artistiche e culturali della televisione e dell’audiovisivo, costituisce la Finale Mondialedelle 14 fasi del Circuito Internazionale del “World FICTS Challenge”, che si svolgono nei 5 Continenti. Avrà luogo aMilanodal 30 Ottobre al 4 Novembre 2009 a Palazzo Giureconsulti (Piazza Mercanti, 2). Il “Grattacielo Pirelli” ospiterà la “Cerimonia di Inaugurazione” (30 ottobre), “Palazzo Marino” la “Cerimonia di Premiazione” (4 novembre).
Sono già numerose le opere pervenute, fino a questo momento, al Comitato Organizzatore che concorreranno, attraverso documentari, spot, reportage, fiction, cartoon, all’assegnazione della “Guirlande d’Honneur” in una delle 6 Sezioni competitive: 1. Spirito Olimpico (Valori Olimpici);2. Documentari (Sport individuali; Sport di squadra; Grandi Campioni; Reportage);3. Trasmissioni TV & Nuove Tecnologie (Rubriche, Contenitori, Talk-show, Programmi di intrattenimento; New Media); 4. Sport & Società (Sport & Solidarietà; Sport per Tutti, Educazione, Tecnica-Didattica);5. Movies; 6. Sport & Pubblicità (Pubblicità Sociale/Istituzionale; Pubblicità Commerciale).
Una considerevole vetrina mondiale, un luogo di incontro privilegiato per autori, media, emittenti televisive, Network mondiali, radio, case di produzione, major, produttori, registi, Comitati Olimpici e Federazioni sportive, campioni sportivi, agenzie pubblicitarie e di comunicazione che offre al pubblico il meglio delle produzioni provenienti da 50 Nazioni dai 5 Continenti. Una vera e propria rassegna mondiale di settore che comprende 180 Proiezioni, 7 punti di proiezione, 8 Convegni, 7 Incontri, 3 Workshop, 2 Mostre, 9 Eventi collegati, 4 Conferenze Stampa e 30 Premiazioni con ospiti prestigiosi e la partecipazione di 230 giornalisti che determineranno un elevato interesse mediatico.
L’evento, che costituirà una Convention globale del comparto cine-televisivo dello sport, anche in proiezione EXPO 2015, offrirà al pubblico – attraverso immagini inedite – una panoramica a 360° sui valori sociali, sugli aspetti agonistici e culturali dello sport.
