Finswimming in the USA, something is moving!

The development of finswimming in the US seems to be lagging with respect to other countries such as China, Korea, and many European nations. It may be a hasty conclusion but we couldn’t find a representative from US in the World’s Ranking (shown in the previous post). We found a reference to the list of US records for finswimming and there is a huge difference between the world’s and US’ record holders.

Results from Snowfins Trophy 2011 – Russia

Thanks to Cyril that translated it into english, we publish here the results from the latest Finswimming Competition called Snowfin, hold in Tomsk (Russia) on 22 January 2011. The competition organizers succeeded in creating a record prize fund – 10 000$ (USD). Participating countries included France, Spain, Thailand, Algeria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. For the first time ever, European swimming champion (ex-world record holder) Antoine Galavtine represented France in bi-fins race.
