Stefano Figini e Sayed Baruki sono stati premiati all’Expo Brianza 2011 Venerdì 30 Settembre 2011 dall’Assessore dello Sport del Comune di Varedo Figini M. Ricordiamo che il ns Campione Stefano Figini ha conquistato ben tre Titoli agli ultimi Campionati del Mondo che si sono svolti nella città di Hódmezővásárhely in Ungheria a cavallo tra Luglio e Agosto, stabilendo altrettanti Record Mondiali, nelle specialità: 200np, 800np e 4x200np!

As seen in some of the major blog in the net, we publish here the unofficial calendar (because the CMAS Web Site doesn’t contains it yet) of the Cmas World Cup in Finswimming for the Season 2012. The other International Finswimming Competitions are almost official, like the Senior European Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy), since 13th until 23rd August 2012 (IMHO not a really nice period to have competitions) and the Youth World Championships in Graz (Austria) since 15th until 22th July 2012.

They already hosted this year Maksym Moroz (Ukraine), former European Long Distance Champion, and Gergely Juhos (Hungary), former World Champion in 400fs and 800fs: now Diving Club GERONIMO from Zagreb will expand their Geronimo Academy program receiving on Saturday, November 5th, two “giants” of the Italian Finswimming movement. The first, Riccardo Galli, is former World Junior Championship and European Senior Championship in 100fs; the second is the recent pluri-decorated World Champion and holder of several World records, Stefano Figini.

The 1st and 2nd October 2011 a course of introduction to Finswimming was held in the pool ABVE (Association of Volunteer Fire Estoril) of Lisbon, (Portugal). The FPAS (Portuguese Federation of Underwater Activities) has the initiative to actively promote dynamic apnea, shooting underwater and Finswimming (Natação com Barbatanas) and so he invited three members of the FEDA (Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities) to teach the course.

Ricordiamo a tutti gli interessati che in data medesima verranno disputati i recuperi delle gare individuali Assolute maschile e femminile dei Campionati Italiani di Mezzofondo di Nuoto Pinnato, interrotti per questioni di sicurezza causa maltempo Domenica 18 Settembre 2011 all’Idroscalo di Milano.
