Here all the results and the videos about the Finswimming Competition taken during the Finswimming Stage in Zagreb, on the last week end (November 5th-6th 2011) in which the champions Stefano Figini and Riccardo Galli took part.

They already hosted this year Maksym Moroz (Ukraine), former 2000 European Long Distance Champion, and Gergely Juhos (Hungary), former 2004 World Champion in 400fs and 800fs. Last Saturday, 5th November, program “Geronimo Academy” took in Zagreb two Italian champions: Riccardo Galli, former 2003 European champion in 100fs, and the 3-gold-medals and 3-world-records holder from this year’s World Championship Stefano Figini, maybe the best male finswimmer of the last ten years.

Here all the results from the Nemo Trophy 2011, a famous International Finswimming competition taken in the town of Zlin in Czech Republic. We can notice some nice good results like the “unusual” race of 200mt Immersion, in which Denes Kanio swam the time of 1’17″65! And again in 1500mt sf the winner swam 12’44″60…but guess who! And rumors say that he is coming back to compete next year! Results also show that Hajnalka Debreceni and Zuzana Svozilova will be very strong in the upcoming season (Hajnalka 7:07,74 on 800m IM).

Here the results of the Copa Internacional de Actividaded Subacuáticas, taken in the city of La Havana (Cuba) On October 22th-26th 2011. For the Finswimming section there were races of: 50, 100 and 200 bifins. Thanks to Miguel Cedeño for the results.

Last night was official the cancellation of the 10th CMAS International Finswimming Meeting of “Llengua Catalana” 2011 organized by the catalan club Associació Esportiva Natació x Tothom, based in Lleida, Spain. Due to economic adjustments of the club and large cuts on grants by the official institutions, the organizers of the event have been obliged to cancel the competition this year. Associació Esportiva Natació x Tothom will try to rectify these economical problems for the next season 2012.
