Here all the results from the Nemo Trophy 2011, a famous International Finswimming competition taken in the town of Zlin in Czech Republic. We can notice some nice good results like the “unusual” race of 200mt Immersion, in which Denes Kanio swam the time of 1’17″65! And again in 1500mt sf the winner swam 12’44″60…but guess who! And rumors say that he is coming back to compete next year! Results also show that Hajnalka Debreceni and Zuzana Svozilova will be very strong in the upcoming season (Hajnalka 7:07,74 on 800m IM).

Kad (Kids as Dolphins) è un progetto educativo mirato alla salvaguardia e alla sicurezza del bambino in acqua. Attraverso il gioco, l’esecuzione degli esercizi egli apprenderà tutti quei comportamenti, nozioni, e regole importanti per aumentare la sua “consapevolezza” in acqua, il suo autoascolto e per porsi in un nuovo modo accanto ai compagni di gruppo. Il corso si svolgerà il 3 e 4 Dicembre 2011 – presso il Centro Natatorio Lido Azzurro Varedo.

They already hosted this year Maksym Moroz (Ukraine), former European Long Distance Champion, and Gergely Juhos (Hungary), former World Champion in 400fs and 800fs: now Diving Club GERONIMO from Zagreb will expand their Geronimo Academy program receiving on Saturday, November 5th, two “giants” of the Italian Finswimming movement. The first, Riccardo Galli, is former World Junior Championship and European Senior Championship in 100fs; the second is the recent pluri-decorated World Champion and holder of several World records, Stefano Figini.

The 1st and 2nd October 2011 a course of introduction to Finswimming was held in the pool ABVE (Association of Volunteer Fire Estoril) of Lisbon, (Portugal). The FPAS (Portuguese Federation of Underwater Activities) has the initiative to actively promote dynamic apnea, shooting underwater and Finswimming (Natação com Barbatanas) and so he invited three members of the FEDA (Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities) to teach the course.

My friend Miguel from Sportalsub just sent me the complete results from the last round, the Golden one, of the Cmas Finwimming World Cup 2011, that was hold in the city of Yantai – China on September 17th – 19th 2011. Unluckly they are scanned from original papers and the quality is not very good, but readable. It seems that the Russian Finswimmer Pavel Kabanov Swam the New World Record on 50 mts apnea with the time of 14.10!!!
