Camille Heitz, a Transalpine Rocket

We met her, and his fantastic trainer Michel Kitchev, also this last week end in the 2nd round of the World Cup in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy). The Hero of the Week, Michal Rubacek!

The very strong Czech Butterfly Swimmer Michal Rubacek, who participated in the Olympic Games in Beijing and Athens and various World Championships, the last one in Rome in 2009, established the new World Record in finswimming distances of 100 bifins 43″12 and 200 bifins with time of 1’36″54 during the second round of the Finswimming World Cup which took place Saturday and Sunday 20-21 March 2010, at the swimming center Ge.Tur in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy). here a nice interview, in English and in Italian. Gian Mario Migliaccio, un Pinnatista d’altri tempi

Ciao Gian Mario, forse non tutti sanno che eri un atleta di alto livello di Nuoto Pinnato negli anni 80, raccontaci un po’ della tua carriera dagli esordi fino alla fine all’inizio dei ’90.
Ciao, la “carriera” agonistica purtroppo dura troppo poco in effetti. Inizio a nuotare all’età di 5 anni presso la piscina del gruppo sportivo delle Fiamme Gialle a Roma dove mio padre era l’allenatore, dopo il trasferimento a Cagliari ho continuato a fare nuoto agonistico con successi alterni. Lungo la strada dello sport, ho fatto anche canoa, mi sono ritrovato sulla via del Pinnato che, con grandi sacrifici per via di spazi acqua ridottissimi, ho attivato con grande passione.
