After 3 months the results from the last round of the World Cup in Valencia Long Distance are available. The competition was held in Valencia (Spain) on September 23 2009, after Swimming Pool competitions.

Maybe you already saw him long time ago when he was young, but only in the latest years he grew up becoming a Champion. This year in the latest World Championships in Saint Petersburg he won the Gold Medal in the hardest and longest competition: 20000 mt long distance, and we also have to say that he is the first Italian that won this kind of competition at Worls. Here the Provisional Ranking about the competition circuit called Coppa Italia, that is a serie of Middle Distance competitions that take place every year in Italy. The average of the distances race is 3km and it started in May. The final round will be taken next week end in Treviso, and it will be a two days meeting. The first day (Sat evening) is for the relay 3×2000 mts, while on the second day (Sun morning) there will be the single race 3000mts. Like every of the last years the Clubs that are trying to win the Competition “Coppa Italia” are Nord Padania Sub Varedo and Record Team Bologna.

In the wonderful frame of the Idroscalo of Milan, was held the “7th Finswimming Supermaster Trophy” Race valid as proof of 5th Italy Cup. In the women competitive categories the victory went to Tuscany Sara Turrini (Massa Rosa Swimming Mo) followed by Silvia Baroncini (Record Team Bologna) and Sarah Sanvito (Nord Padania Sub Varedo) awarded by the President FIPSAS Ugo Matteoli.
