2nd Memorial Dario D’Alessandro – A National Finswimming Event - Finswimmer Magazine

The 2nd Memorial Dario D’Alessandro, a prestigious national finswimming event, is set to take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Palasport Camaiore in Camaiore, Italy. Organized under the auspices of FIPSAS (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities), this competition brings together finswimmers from across the country in a showcase of skill and dedication.

Event Details

The event will be held in a 25-meter pool, with electronic timing systems managed by the Lucca branch of the Italian Federation of Timekeepers to ensure accurate race results. Competitors across various categories will have the chance to participate. These categories include Esordienti, 1ª, 2ª, 3ª, Assoluti, Master, and DIFIR, all of whom must be officially registered with FIPSAS for the 2024/2025 season.

Athletes in the Absolute and Master categories, as well as others who opt in, will compete following CMAS regulations. The registration fee for individual races is set at €4 per event, payable via bank transfer to the organizing committee’s account. The organizing club, however, will not be eligible for these incentives.
