The Golden Flipper 2025 continues its tradition as one of Russia’s most important junior finswimming events, showcasing the country’s future champions and reinforcing Novosibirsk’s role as a major center for underwater sports.
New Russian Junior Record!
A new milestone in finswimming was set on 14 November 2025 in Tomsk, where Elizaveta Kupressova (born 2008), representing the Novosibirsk region, achieved an impressive 03:12.52 in the 400 SF girls event at the XV All-Russian “Golden Fin” competition.
Her swim now stands as the Russian Junior Record, coming incredibly close to the Junior World Record of 03:12.27 held by Ukraine’s Anna Yakovleva, and not far from the Senior World Record of 03:11.88 set by Sofiia Hrechko (Ukraine).
A remarkable performance from one of Russia’s rising stars in finswimming! 🌊🏊♀️💨
