Challenge Kichev 2025: Toulouse Hosts the Second Edition of Its Dynamic Finswimming Sprint Event
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the Léo Lagrange Pool in Toulouse will once again welcome finswimmers from across the region for the 2nd edition of the Challenge Kichev, an energetic and innovative competition organized by Toulouse Métropole Palmes (TMP).
This regional-level finswimming pool event brings together licensed athletes from multiple federations, offering a fast-paced program built around sprint distances and a unique relay format.
A Three-Sprint Challenge at the Heart of the Event
Staying true to its concept, the Challenge Kichev focuses on three key 50-meter races:
- 50 AP
- 50 BI
- 50 SF
The combined points from these three sprints will determine the best male and best female athlete of the day. At the end of the competition, Michel Kichev himself will award a special trophy to the two overall winners.
New for 2025: Addition of the 400 BI
A recent program update (December 1, 2025) introduces an extra race:
400 BI, expanding the long-distance and bi-fins portfolio for participants.
