The Finswimming 2021 season is yet to be completed, and the official CMAS Finswimming World Cup 2022 calendar, updated September 28th 2021, is already done. As every year, the locations are always the same ones, a part some new entry, and it’s starting to be a little boring for finswimmers who have to travel the same places and attend the same swimmming pools.
EGYPT – CANCELLED
The CMAS Finswimming events season will begin very soon, in fact the CMAS Finswimming World Cup Round 1 swimming pool and open water is scheduled on January 27th-31st 2022 in Egypt, in the seaside city of Sharm el-Sheikh. This round has been cancelled on December 6th 2021. In this famous African touristic location there will be the swimming pool competitions in addition to the open water (long distance) events. At the moment no related information is available, so if you want to know more about this event you can check the Egyptian Finswimming Federation web site at https://edlf-eg.org/en/ or the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Egylifesaving.fed. You can use an online translator service for translating it from Arabian to your own language.
HUNGARY
The second one, CMAS Finswimming World Cup – Round 2 Swimming Pool, will be held in the city of Eger (Hungary) from 25th to 27th February 2022. I bet you already know that swimming pool, it’s very cool, fast and confortable. Many CMAS Finswimming Eeuropean and World Championships have been held in this great swimming complex, including also a lot of CMAS Finswimming World Cups, so the swimming pool has been run in very much! ITALY
And again, the CMAS Finswimming World Cup Round 3 swimming pool is going to be held in the Italian town of Lignano Sabbiadoro from 18th to 20th March 2022. Like Eger, also this swimming pool has been visited a lot of times by the most of the European Finswimmers. The pool is very very fast, a lot of Finswimming World Records have been set in this Italian water. Furthermore the swimming pool is part of a bigger sport complex in which the hotels and restaurants are included, so this is very confortable for finswimmers who has only 3 minutes walking trip between rooms and swimming pool. GERMANY
CMAS Finswimming World Cup Round 4 swimming pool is scheduled from April 22nd to 24th 2022 in the German ity of Leipzig. So far many of the CMAS World Cup rounds have been held here like the 3rd Round CMAS Finswimming World Cup 2018 – Leipzig, furthermore a lot of National German national Finswimming events such as the International Leipzig Sprint Cup.
USA
The penultimate round of the CMAS Finswimming World Cup 2022 will be held in Coral Springs (Florida), in the United States of America in the month of May 2022, from 13th to 15th 2022. Many rounds of the CMAS Finswimming World Cup have been held in that beautiful place in the latest years, all of them successful.
CHINA
The last round, also known as CMAS Finswimming World Cup – swimming pool & open water Golden Final, will be held in a brand new location in which no International CMAS Finswimming events have been held in the past. in the CMAS web site it is described as Jinjiang Fujian in China, but looking for information on the internet, it is a country and not a city. We’ll wait for more accurate news about the exact location from the organizer federation.
As you can see, we didn’t write enything about the CMAS Finswimming University World Cup in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) from 1st to 2nd April 2022, because we think it’s another type of race and it’s not related to the classical CMAS World Cup annual tournament.
