The Croatian Senior Championships in finswimming and speed diving will take place in Zagreb on May 2–3, 2026. The event is organized by the Croatian Diving Federation, with the Finswimming Club “Dubrava” acting as host.
Venue and Competition Setup
The competition will be held at the Svetice swimming pool complex in Zagreb, a 50 x 25 meter pool equipped with 10 lanes, although races will be conducted using 8 lanes. The facility includes electronic timing systems to ensure accurate results.
Participation Requirements
The event is open to all registered members of Croatian Diving Federation clubs, as well as athletes from CMAS-affiliated clubs. Participants must provide:
- A valid federation membership card for 2026
- A medical certificate not older than six months
- A signed liability statement
- A valid diving certification (minimum CMAS R1) for specific disciplines
- Proof of entry fee payment
The entry fee is set at €25, and registration deadlines fall on April 24, 2026, with payments due by April 29, 2026.
Competition Format and Rules
The championships include both individual and team competitions in men’s and women’s senior categories. There are no limits on the number of entries per athlete or team, but team rankings are calculated based on the top two results per club in each discipline and gender.
Scoring follows the federation’s official rules, awarding 25 points for first place, 22 for second, 20 for third, and decreasing incrementally down to 1 point for twentieth place.
The competition adheres to both Croatian federation and CMAS regulations. Equipment must comply with federation standards, including certified air tanks with specific pressure and volume limits.
Awards
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each individual and relay event for both men and women. Team trophies will be given for the top three teams in men’s, women’s, and overall combined standings.

Additional Notes
Protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of an incident, accompanied by a €35 fee, refundable if the protest is upheld. All athletes compete at their own risk, as organizers disclaim liability for damages.
