The Krasnoyarsk Regional Junior Championship in Underwater Sports (14–17 years) took place in February 25th-28th 2026, bringing together the region’s top young finswimmers for an intense and highly competitive event.
Athletes competed across a full program of disciplines, including finswimming (monofin), classical bifins, and underwater events, demonstrating both speed and technical precision. The championship highlighted the depth of talent within the Krasnoyarsk region, with strong performances across sprint and middle-distance races.
Several races were decided by narrow margins, underlining the growing competitiveness in the 14–17 age category. The results confirmed the high technical standard of the athletes, particularly in monofin events where race strategy, underwater phase control, and turn efficiency played a decisive role.
Clubs from across the region contributed to a vibrant and dynamic competition environment, reinforcing Krasnoyarsk’s reputation as one of the key centers for youth development in Russian underwater sports.
This championship once again proved that the next generation of finswimmers is steadily progressing, setting the foundation for future appearances at national championships and international competitions.
