Finswimming is one of the most exciting water sport ever. Finswimming is a sport belonging to the aquatic specialties which, using specific equipment (monofin, fins, snorkel or cylinders) allows the athlete to reach much higher speeds than swimming. There are indoor (swimming pools) and open water (sea, lake, rivers) championships.

The international federation to which fin swimming belongs is CMAS, the Confédération Mondial des Activités Subaquatiques, which is part of the ARISF, and is a discipline recognized by the IOC.

Petra Senanszky at the 2022 Swimming World Championships in Budapest - Finswimmer Magazine

We are pleased to inform you that the multiple finswimming champion and World record holder from Hungary, Petra Senanszky, has been called up for the national team for taking part to the 2022 FINA Swimming World Championships in Budapest, from June 18th 2022 to July 3rd 2022! In fact Petra is going to swim in the race of 50 freestyle and in the relay 4x100m freestyle.
