SEA WAVE Round 3: Children’s & Junior Finswimming Competition Coming to Phuket!
The Thailand Underwater Federation (ATUS) is hosting an exciting Children’s-Junior Finswimming Competition on November 9th, 2025 in beautiful Phuket, Thailand!
🏟️ Venue
The competition will take place at the impressive Sport Complex PSU Phuket (Prince of Songkhla University), featuring a world-class 50-meter pool equipped with:
- 10 lanes with wave-breaking ropes
- OMEGA timing systems
- Constant 2-meter depth
- Temperature-controlled water (25°C)
👥 Who Can Participate?
The competition welcomes all countries and clubs with age categories ranging from 6 to 17 years:
- Group B: 16-17 years
- Group C: 14-15 years
- Group D: 12-13 years
- Group E: 10-11 years
- Group F: 8-9 years
- Group G: 6-7 years
🏅 Competition Events
Athletes can compete in various distances and styles including:
- Surface swimming (50m & 100m)
- Bi-fins (50m & 100m)
- Apnea (50m)
- Mixed relay teams (4x50m)
📝 Registration Details
- Entry fee: $50 USD per athlete
- Registration: Online via provided form
- Technical meeting: 8:45 AM on competition day
- Warm-up: Starts at 7:30 AM
- Competition: Begins at 9:00 AM
All participants will receive certificates, and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes!
