Participation Requirements
Athletes must hold a valid federation license and be registered through their birth or training federation. Each swimmer may compete in a maximum of three individual events plus relay races. Federations can enter up to three senior and three pre-senior swimmers per individual event.
To ensure competitive quality, qualifying times have been established for each event. Athletes must have competed in at least two competitions during the 2025-2026 season, with their times published in the rankings 16 days before the championship. The ranking deadline is February 23 at 11:59 PM.
Scoring System
The championship employs a detailed point system where the top 47 finishers in each event earn points ranging from 50 points for first place down to 1 point for 47th place. Relay events receive double points. Teams are scored based on the sum of their three best individual performances per event, combining both male and female results.
Notably, any swimmer who equals or improves the Spanish absolute record for their event receives double points, adding an extra incentive for exceptional performances.
Technical Specifications
The competition follows time-trial heats based on accredited times from either 50m or 25m pools. The organizing committee will provide scuba bottle charges at 200 atmospheres pressure, though all equipment must comply with current regulations and pass inspection.
Registration Details
Federations must complete registration by 11:59 PM on Monday, March 9, through a dedicated web application. The entry fee is €10 per event (individual or relay), payable to the Valencian Federation’s account.
