On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Torino will host the 3rd Trofeo della Mole, an exciting national finswimming competition organized by ASD La Salle Eridano under the auspices of FIPSAS. The event will take place at the Trecate Municipal Pool, located at Via Vasile Alecsandri 27/A, a facility boasting a 50-meter pool with eight lanes and a depth ranging from 1.2 to 3.5 meters.

Competition Overview

The Trofeo della Mole offers a wide array of events tailored to various categories, including youth, junior, senior, and master athletes. Participants will compete in disciplines such as:

50m and 100m apnea, fins, and monofin races across different age groups.
200m fins and monofin events for juniors and seniors.
Relay races, including 4x50m mixed (two males and two females) and 4x100m mixed events in fins and monofin categories.

In addition to the standard races, timed trial requests are allowed for distances up to 400 meters. Teams can enter multiple relays per category, though only the top result per team will count towards the official standings.

Event Schedule and Logistics

Athletes and teams are required to check in at 12:30 PM, with warm-ups divided by gender: females from 1:00 to 1:25 PM and males from 1:25 to 1:50 PM. The competition begins at 2:00 PM, with automatic timekeeping provided by the Italian Federation of Chronometrists.

Registration for the event is exclusively online and must be completed by Sunday, January 12, 2025, at midnight. Fees are set at €5.50 per individual event, €11 for relay teams, and €15 per team. Payment is mandatory by the registration deadline, and late entries will not be accepted.

Individual achievements will be recognized through awards presented during the event. However, no team classification or corresponding awards are planned, emphasizing personal excellence in this competition.
