From October 23 to 24, 2025, the Yaroslavl City Underwater Sports Championship took place at the Shinnik swimming pool (25m) in the city of Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl Region (Russia).
The event featured competitions in finswimming and bi-fins (classic fins) disciplines, gathering young athletes from local sports clubs and schools. The championship served both as a key stage in the city’s underwater sports calendar and as an opportunity for the younger generation to test their skills in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere.
Races were held in three age categories:
- Juniors (2008–2011)
- Younger boys and girls (2012–2013)
- Children born in 2014 and younger
Throughout two days of racing, the athletes demonstrated strong performances, teamwork, and remarkable progress in technique and speed. Coaches and spectators highlighted the high level of organization and the growing popularity of finswimming among young people in the Yaroslavl region.
