Finswimming Open Age Individual Türkiye Championship and National Team Selections 2025 - Finswimmer Magazine

The Finswimming Open Age Individual Türkiye Championship and National Team Selections 2025 (3rd Accredited National Team Trials) will be held from 14 to 18 May 2025 in Edirne, at the Edirne GSİM Olympic Swimming Pool, under the organization of the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF).

Competitions will be held across multiple distances and disciplines, including:

Surface (Su Üstü): 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m
Apnea (Dip): 50m
Bifins (Çift Palet): 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m
Immersion with cylinder (Tüp): 100m, 200m

Categories: A, B, C, and D age groups — only A/B/C are eligible for medals; D group receives participation certificates.

📌 Participation Conditions:

Only accredited clubs with 2025 season approval can participate.
Athletes can enter a max of 2 races per day and 5 races total.
Proper CMAS-compliant equipment is mandatory.
Absences without justification result in a ₺1000 fine per event.
Safety, discipline, and access rules are strictly enforced.

💰 Awards & Harcırah:

Individual ranking points will determine the Top 20 male and female athletes, each receiving full travel allowance (harcırah).
Clubs from Edirne will not receive payments.
Disqualified or non-compliant participants may face disciplinary action.

📢 This championship also serves as the selection ground for the Turkish national finswimming team. All participating athletes and clubs must adhere to the strict rules and guidelines set by TSSF and CMAS.
