The 2026/27 CMAS finswimming calendar is one of the richest in years: a world championship in the open sea of the Red Sea, a Paralympic world championship in the pool, a three-stop CMAS World Cup across Turkey, Italy and France, and a masters world championship to close the season. This guide collects every event of the official CMAS circuit still to come, in chronological order, with dates, venues, maps and links to the full event pages on Finswimmer.
CMAS, the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques, is the world governing body of finswimming. Its circuit is built on a few families of events: the World Cup, a series of pool meetings that runs through the season; the World Championships, in the pool, in open water and for masters, for seniors and juniors; the continental championships, with the European Championships at the top of the list for senior and junior athletes; and, every four years, The World Games, where finswimming has its place among the world’s non-Olympic sports.
Whether you are an athlete planning the season, a coach building a travel schedule, a club looking for the next international meeting, or a fan who wants to know when and where the fastest monofin swimmers will race, the list below is the place to start. Each card links to the dedicated event page, where programme, entry information and results are added as soon as they are published.

What about the European Championships, the junior world events and The World Games?
The calendar above lists the CMAS events whose dates and venues are already confirmed. Dates for the 2027 European Championships (senior and junior) and for further junior world events are not yet on our calendar, and this guide will be updated as soon as CMAS and the organisers publish them. No edition of The World Games falls in 2026/27: the games are held every four years and the latest one took place in Chengdu in 2025, where Nándor Kiss broke his own world record in the 400 m surface.
If you want to see how the CMAS circuit has looked so far this season, read our reports on the World Cup in Coral Springs, the Asian Championship for juniors and the European Championship for juniors in Chios.
