At first My trainer was Zoltán Ludvigh, and in the last few years I worked with Tamás Sáfár

400m SF and 800m SF
Favorite athlete (past or present, also as a point of reference):
I don’t have idol in finswimming, but I appreciate a couple of swimmers, like K. Koudraev, Sergei Akhapov, Evgeniy Skorzhenko, Igor Soroka, Tomais Dimitrios, Tsourounakis Ioannis, Stefano Figini, Andrea Nava, Sven Lützkendorf… gosh, how many big names int he “Hall of fame”! Appologize if I missed somebody 😉
But at last I want to mention two competitors from My home: the first is Péter Vinkler who had reached quite everything in this sport, but beside this fact, He helped Me time to time to improve My performance (sometimes at expense of Himself). I still handle Him like My younger brother. The second person is Dénes Kanyó, whose struggle I can see week to week, that’s why I so proud of Him when He arrived onto the top of the world int he age of 33 years! On the whole I’m lucky to be in good friendship with the most of finswimmer. (Like Manca Davide and Rubes Levada: those glory days! ?)

Yes, on 800m SF That’s still the national record. the 400SF national record was broke by Dénes Kanyó in this year.
Do you prefere individual races or relays?
I prefered the individual races those are more expectable. But if I wasn’t in good condition, in spite of this I could all the time swim good results int he relays. All for the mates!
Do you prefere races in the pool or long distance?
Rather in the pool. But the outdoor races have special feeling.
What is your specialty (distance, surface or immersion)?
400-800 SF
What kind of fins or monofins do you use? (Brand)
I used hungarian mono, was produced in Kaposvár
What other sports have practiced before?
I tried football, a short time of swimming, and during my finswimmer carreer I ride My bicycle with My coach and friend Tamás Sáfár.
Other sports now?
Yes, I try to turn time to do some sport…

Road Cycling, sometimes triathlone, or duathlone, swimming

I became a member rather early, 1991, I was 12. But the first Youth European championship that I took a part was in 1994. The date of meet Rubes and You!

I think this “job” that You do with this website is great. I think this sport needs more people whose are working on it to make finswimmer society closer themselves. Wishing health and strenght to do this!

All’inizio il mio allenatore era Zoltán Ludvigh, negli ultimi anni della mia carriera era Tamás Sáfár!

Atleta preferito (passato o presente, inteso anche come punto di riferimento):
Non ho idoli nel Nuoto Pinnato, ma ammiro un paio di nuotatori, come K. Koudraev, Sergei Akhapov, Evgeniy Skorzhenko, Igor Soroka, Dimitrios Tomais, Tsourounakis Ioannis, Stefano Figini, Andrea Nava, Sven Lützkendorf … Accidenti, quanti grandi nomi nella “Hall of Fame”! Mi scuso se mi sono diemnticato di qualcuno 😉
Ma alla fine voglio citare due nuotatori di “casa mia”: il primo è Peter Vinkler che aveva raggiunto proprio tutto in questo sport, ma accanto a questo fatto, egli mi ha aiutato di volta in volta per migliorare le mie prestazioni (a volte anche a sue spese). Lo tratto ancora come mio fratello minore. La seconda persona è Dénes Kanyo, che vedo di settimana in settimana, è per questo che sono così orgoglioso di lui quando è arrivato sulla cima del mondo, all’età di 33 anni! Nel complesso ho la fortuna di essere in buona amicizia con la maggior parte dei Pinnatisti. (Come Davide Manca e Rubes Levada: quei giorni di gloria!?)

Si, negli 800m SF ho ancora il record nazionale. nei 400SF avevo il record nazionale ma è stato battuto da Dénes Kanyó quest’anno.
Preferite le gare individuali o staffette?
Preferisco le gare individuali, queste sono più prevedibili. Ma se io non ero in buone condizioni, ho comunque fatto il possibile nelle staffette. Tutto per i compagni!
Preferite le gare in piscina o di fondo?
Principalmente in piscina. Ma con il fondo ho un rapporto speciale.

Ho provato il calcio, per un breve periodo nuoto, e durante la mia carriera andavo in bicicletta con il mio allenatore e amico Tamás Safar.

Sono diventato un componente della nazionale piuttosto presto, nel 1991, avevo 12 anni. Ma il primo campionato europeo giovanile a cui ho preso parte è stato nel 1994. Quando ho incontrato Rubes e Davide!

Credo che questo tuo “lavoro” che fai con il sito è grande. Penso che questo il Nuoto Pinnato abbia bisogno di molta gente interessata a divulgarlo.
